Danielle

Every time I look into your eyes
I want to go to bed and fantasize
About all the things that I would do
If I get alone with you

I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle

Every time that we're alone
We take some steps towards the unknown
I'd like to think I have a chance
I want to get inside your pants

I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle

Every time I look into your blue eyes
I want to spread your milky thighs
You could be my southern belle
And I know that you do it well

I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle
I want to get next to Danielle
I'm next to Danielle

Songfacts: This song began in Fairfield, CA at a party with some friends of mine who were in the Air Force stationed at Travis AFB. I was in the garage jamming on my guitar with a drummer, John Beaton. One of our favorite songs to cover back then was David Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust." One of the house resident's name was Danielle, a young lady from Atlanta, Georgia. She came out to the garage to smoke a cigarette while we played music.

I started playing an ode to Danielle. "Every time I look into your eyes.." All of the sudden a song popped out (it was a lot raunchier back then). The next thing we knew, the whole party came out to the garage to hear the new song, "Danielle." Years later I worked on it and updated more lyrics, and it became the first song I recorded, teaching myself how to record at home.
